PCRC Decision Laboratory
PCRClab is a decision-making laboratory in the University of Turku. It is the oldest laboratory of its kind in Finland. It has been active since 2008 and is used by social scientists, especially economists and political scientists. The laboratory was founded by a former research unit, the Public Choice Research Center, from which the laboratory inherits its name.
PRCRlab is part of the national research infrastructure, the Finnish Research Infrastructure for Public Opinion (FIRIPO), which is funded by the Academy of Finland.
The laboratory is developed and maintained by the Department of Economics from Turku School of Economics and the Political Science Discipline from the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Anyone can sign up as a volunteer participant using the online registration platform at orsee.utu.fi/. Participation is paid. The lab hosts participants both online and in-person in the lab.
